About the Artist
Julie Moss is a UK artist who works within the traditional genre of landscapes. Based on a deeply felt experience filtered through memory, she seeks to capture the shift between what is seen, remembered, and experienced. She initially works outdoors with inks and Japanese brushes in her sketchbook. Once back in the studio she works in oils on canvas, often preferring a large scale canvas to create an immersive atmosphere, which she hopes will draw the viewer into her world.
