About the Artist
Katie Chance completed her BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design. An avid traveler and explorer of all kinds, she views her work as a bond between nature and mindfulness. "Girls" is a series of line-contour drawings, where Katie uses commercial photographs for inspiration and then “blindly” or without looking at her canvas, abstracts the nude figure into a continuous lyrical line drawing utilizing ink, chalk pastel, graphite and watercolor.
