About the Artist
Lisa Krannichfeld double majored in studio art and biology at Colorado College. Painting was always a keen interest, specifically portraiture and figures focusing mostly on women. She loves depicting them in ways not often seen in art: aggressive, powerful, confrontational, not passive or hyper-sexualized. She paints loose, expressive portraiture and figures with a pattern-rich and saturated aesthetic.
